Let's Play! Turok - Dinosaur Hunter Part 1

Since I don't see any LPs of this, I'm uploading my first LP to be Turok, Dinosaur Hunter.

And I mentioned in the video that this is blooper reel material Yeah...RIGHT. I don't feel doin' this !@#$ all over again! So deal with my crappy mistakes, as I play through one of my favorites as a child. The horror. The laughter. The crying. It's all going to be happening to me once more.

I'm using Project64 to play this, along with Fraps to record. Accompanying me is my good friend HaxMega, who I screen shared with as I played. I may or may not have random guests appear with me on each episode, as I'm doing this along with a Let's Play! for Harvest Moon 64.

When you uploaded this, did you get a content ID match notice?

I ask because when I uploaded my first part, I wound up with one.

@Sonikku2008 No I didn't, I only recall just uploading this silly thing right after getting done with the screen recording. I did this through an emulator, had sound ported from both skype and the game. And the game's sound was pretty low at first.

Not sure what got you the notice. :/ Sorry.

Just giving you a heads up, you might run into some problems with the game freezing up at points after level 1. I dunno what exactly is causing it, but it's keeping me from making any headway in the game. X_X

Basically, I'll be playing the game, and it will suddenly decide to just stop. The emulation wasn't paused, as I could see the FPS counter moving. This game must not want me recording it for some reason. X3

Thanks for the info, I'll keep that in mind, if I find a fix for it or if it works fine for me I'll let you know how I got it to work.

@Krystedez Ah.

I did some research into the Content ID thing after posting that comment, and i have a fairly good guess. You started your video at the beginning of level 1, while I started mine at emulation bootup and allowed the company logos and title screen animations to play. I'll bet the visual content of my video matched some reference files of the main character himself, and that's what pinged the match, especially since part 2 wasn't hit.
