Rumored Iphone 3g new case plate

The new iphone 3g back case plate rumor has been circulating the web with photos, I'm not sure if they are real or not I would like them to be real cause I hate the plastic case on the 3g iphone. Here's a link to an article about the new iphone case feel free to leave comments about it.

All I can say is we should hope for the best that it will be aluminum, apple don't let us down!

Really? I honestly expect apple to come out with a new casing for the iphone 3g that's aluminum, the one in the picture might just be plastic with a matte finish but it could also be aluminum thus it will keep some of us guessing. The plastic case on the iphone 3g really scared me away from getting an iphone cause of all the fingerprints and it didn't feel the same as the original iphone, I loved the original back to the iphones it felt so unique and felt great in your hands.

That case doesn't look metal or aluminum to me. I was looking at the pictures on the website, and it looks like plastic with a matte finish. But I don't think the images are real, they could be, but I expect Apple to go with aluminum or something better than plastic for the case.
