Dear Mr. President - Karl Anthony message to Obama

The song Dear Mr. President is featured on Strike-A-Chord, a kids character building CD series. Strike-A-Chord is the nationally acclaimed hands clapping, hips moving, mind engaging Character Building program developed by Karl Anthony.

Although the song was written and produced by Karl Anthony several years ago, the inspiration to make the video only came to Beejal Parmar, who produced and directed the video, after the events of Nov 4th, 2008.

The video features his daughters Shivani & Khushi Parmar. At age 6, Shivani was appalled by the amount of litter in the park through which she walked to school in England. So, she decided that every day she would pick up 5 bit of litter. This was the inspiration for the theme of the video.

The little girls voice in the video is Melissa Poe speaking at the United Nations and who started a national environmental kids program called Kids Care. She was only none years old.
