@MrFeedback71 I see your point, sir, but let me tell you why thats bullshit. How many of the greatest bands of all time have made covers? Bands Such as Queen and Led Zeppelin.

I think you just want to argue. I never said anything about my knowledge. I simply stated an opinion. But if you really do want to know, yes, I am a musician and I did play in a rock/metal band for years. IMO, this type of cover sucks. And, IMO, this is the kind of thing that is wrong with the music industry today. I wish groups like this would just write their OWN crap for their OWN audience and quit ruining great songs by great bands by making lame, junk covers. Again, just my .02.

Could you throw out a more obscure example?. I don't even know Mony Mony by the Shondells so I couldn't possibly have an opinion on Billy Idol's version as compared to that.
