Awesome, I love R8s.

The reason why it might not impress you is because my camera is really bad at recording sound, my dad was only revving at about 4000 rpm and also it sounds completely different in stand still to when you accelerate on the road. When you pull on the road in the new 6.2L V8 LS3 engine, the sound is amazing. It is deep, powerful and can be heard from a far distance. I can guarantee you will be satisfied when you drive your new R8.
