@joannedj1 They did in 1983 and 84. - a snowflake background in 83 and snow on top of the clock hands in 84.

Festive globe sneaking out quietly? How can it sneak out quietly when it's spinning round to the national anthem?! lol! Nice Christmassy theme during the anthem, but I do think the Beeb could've made their clocks more festive, though. Perhaps they should've put a holly wreath around them?!
