  • Excellent work, Leo...First Rate, friend..Next time I am in the UK. We have to sit down and play a few..Guthrie Thomas

  • I am honoured my friend,as yours are some of footsteps I've been following since I heard your real travelling songs a million years ago,and now through the magic of these modern days I can pay my respect...I am mainly intransit around Europe and always seem to end up in Iceland for some unknown reason, but would travel a thousand miles to sit around and pick a tune or two with you, wherever it may be.If you're heading this way please let me know.(leo.gillespie@gmail.com) Good wishes, leo

  • Wow, Leo - this is so great! Really touching. I love hearing these lyrics and the tune. You wrote some really good stuff, thanks!

I`m a streetperformer, too, but we never met so far. I hope, sometimes we will....

    sometimes.....

Youre a legend on the streets and you earned to be one.

I know of other ones, that were really touched by you and just want you to know, that there are a lot of folks out there, who think of you in tender terms...

brake a string, buddy - and keep on rolling....

  • @slowfootmo Thankyou my friend, you make me feel I'm doing what I should....never knew I was a legend but it sure beats being famous. If you let me know where you are we can run through a song or two.See you later, leo

  • @leogillespie1 The Honor is mine as well, Leo. I have seen, heard, and played with a few thousand singer-songwriters over the past 40 years: The famous, The infamous, and just the folks next door. Only a handful have had All that it takes. You need nothing more than another stage and another night. I started out playin the Tubes in London in the 60's and buskin the streets in the West End for years. Great memories, London. Been to Iceland only once. Never played there. Yet. All my best. Guthrie
