All music by La:Sadie's and all lyrics by Kyo.

ラ・サディース La:Sadie's was an indie band formed in December 1995 by 京 Kyo (vocal), Shinya (drums), KISAKI (bass and leadership), Die (guitar) and 紫緒 Shio (guitar) but the same was soon replaced by 薫 Kaoru (guitar) when in February 1996 Shio left the band to enter another one called Snow.
At first it all began when Kyo, Shinya and KISAKI were together in Osaka in September 1995 followed by two other guitarists SEINE and #4, on a band called 廃人黒薔薇族 (Haijin Kurobara Zoku) that played covers and the same was finished due the departure of the two guitarists that would make another band. However, Die and Shio were called to be the new guitarists but they decided that it was also going to be a new project band named La:Sadie's.
The band's trajectory was short but stirring by its sound on Kuroyume's style and powerful vocals and stage presence Kyo had already. 1996 was the year that the band really seemed to be more acknowledged as they released some demotapes along with some CD singles but unfortunately, at the end of that year La:Sadie's members went through ideals conflicts as it's said and the band broke up in January 15th of 1997 when the bass player KISAKI left the band.
KISAKI in the follow years would enter and form many other bands after MIRAGE. The other La:Sadie's ex-members got together with Toshiya the new bass player and formed DEATHMASK that would change it's name to Dir en grey.

  • I like Kyo-Sama's dancing

  • Because the NEW Dir en Grey wont play any old songs. Like their first CD, Gauze wont be played anymore.

  • Well one great thing about this and Dir En grey is that they show they are not scared of trying anything. The evolution from this to what they just released Different Sense. Its amazing. Their old stuff is great. Marrow is a perfect album and Gauze and Zan are amazing. Cant keep with the same stuff and keep the fans interested. It comes down to how they want to play and how they want their fans to experience their music. And they do a great job with every song they release. They are amazing.

  • まいむスキ~。

    UPありがとう~。

  • true, they havnt played any of there old songs like from Gauze but if you notice for they still played one of there songs from Macabre wich was 羅刹国 but you gota see the new dvd Feast of V Senses its like the one dvd were they play Zan, great sound on it too

  • part two of my message:

But I like both. The new and the old stuff.

But I have to say that they two last albums were the ones that are not as good as the others.

  • I think it's mostly the fact that they don't like their old music anymore.

Maybe they even find it a little bit embarrassing.

Kyo said in an interview, that he hates himself how he was before the release of Macabre. And his lyrics changes a lot, too.

It's an new era for Dir en Grey. Their style and they music changes over the years and they wanna become something new.

  • Is sucks that they don't play old songs anymore. :/ Good thing they still play Marrow and Vulgar at some points.

  • I really dont get why people care if they disbanded, yes they were very good but there are many good old school vk bands like this...besides Kisaki has been in many bands agyer La:Sadie's that still sound about the same
