@GOBRAGH2 Exactly right . Also here in Scandinavia many longbow archers shoot that way ,i have tried it myself and it was not bad .

The way the people are shooting is not wrong. In the United States we call that Apache style and its very effective for anyone who chooses to use that style.
If you can hit the target there is no wrong method of shooting. Its personal choice.
