Don't get me wrong, i'm happy to be my atheist self; but when everyone in your family is mormon and you're not it definatley makes you want to jump off a bridge.

Funny, when I left the church I felt free and independent. Happier now than I ever was in the church.

With all my heart I wish I could go back to the LDS church, I never had more fun, but I also experianced the saddest time of my life when I lost my testimony of Christ.

Want Biblical truths and Proof as to how thedevil is decieving Mormons? Leave me a message I will get back to you. I have many dear friends in the Mormon Church that I pray for everyday. I am not out to hurt anyone. I am out to losen the grip that Satan has on my brothers and sister in Jesus Name Amen!

The devil is very deceiving. I can quote scripture after scripture to prove my point. Yet most will not listen. The Mormons myself once as well are taught not to listen as to be lead astray. As if we do not have minds of our own. As if we cannot think for ourselves. God does not treat us this way. We are given free will. He does not keep us from temptation. He trust with Faith and Knowledge and the Holy Spirit we will make the right choice the Mormon church does not give us that much credit.

I will pray for you. Mormonism is a Cult. A Cult based upon around trickery. The name of Jesus is there to fool and as a smoke Screen. It says Jesus Christ AND latter Day Saints. I was raised Mormon. God never hides anything from his people I.E. what goes on in the temple. There is no other book beyond the Bible. I could go on and on but there are only so many Character. The trap is set from day one. They are very self contained therefore no one wonders and is lost without them. I was when Ileft

The ever-evolving beliefs and practices of the Mormon faith turned me off, and made me want to seek for a more appropriate belief system. If things were as taught in the LDS church, you couldn't build chapels fast enough, and members would crave to serve valiantly in each calling. Such is not the case. Go to church Sunday, and feel and see the dead immitating life. The Tabernacle Choir serves as makeup, on a very old face. Perfect but just not attractive anymore. Glad I'm out. Nice video, thanks

I like this guy. He sounds like he's got a good head on his shoulders. When it comes to approaching non-members, or "inactive members," empathy is the single most important thing one person can have for another. If you want to bridge the gap between yourself and another human being, the only way to do it is to try and understand them.

The seminal event that happened in my life was a challenge to pray and ask if the church was true. I was a Sun Beam in Primary school. I prayed diligently in a manner I felt sufficient, and felt empty, alone, and scared. Years of trying to understand the truth eventually led me to stumble on science, which I've delved into ever since. Having spent many formative years in Utah, I was the victim of the oppression of Mormons who constantly tried to "save" me, but did so in misguided ways.

I read Bushman. They weren't even called the Urim & Thummim, but rather "interpreters". The first name was applied later.
