The Dwight D. Opperman Institute of Judicial Administration and The Brennan Center for Justice at NYU Law hosted the Fifteenth Annual Justice William J. Brennan, Jr. Lecture on State Courts and Social Justice. The Brennan Lecture serves as a yearly recognition of the central role of the state judiciary in the justice system. The Honorable Jack B. Jacobs, Justice of the Delaware Supreme Court, gave an address titled "The Reach of State Corporate Law Beyond State Borders: Reflections Upon Federalism." February 26, 2009
