just because you can't make a SERIOUS movie about the FF doesn't mean you can't make a GOOD movie about the FF.
look at Superman: you can't possibly make a SERIOUS movie about an alien who flies in blue spandex and wears red underwear on the outside,but he has 2 really GOOD movies,and those were made 30 years ago.
the same goes to Spiderman.

I gave this a Matinee, think about this, they had a FANTASTIC FOUR movie back in the 90's that never made it to theaters. Yes, it was that bad, this I thought was an improvement, wasn't that long, didn't drag, and you can take your kids to see it.
