  • Like the bite from a spicy ginger snap, I will never get tired of these guys. I saw the trio back in the late 70s opening up for Jethro Tull. What a bill!! So tight, such talent. From top to bottom. I played bass and violin along with UK for so, so many hours. The things that ran through my head as I longed to be playing with these talented musicians. Where the hell has good and innovative music gone??

  • Wetton's beard here is ridiculous .... Great singer, though

  • I saw UK on the first tour in Manchester. The line up I think was Bill Bruford, John Wetton, Allan Holdsworth and Eddie Jobson. 3rd row from the front and it was great. Maybe 78 ??

  • Saw them open for "Tull".Best opening band I've ever seen. Their talent is "off the charts".

  • this is Wetton could sing anything and his range was from very high falseto to low and always powerful...this was too jazzy and progressive and elcletic to make mainstream....good stuff........just not packaged to sell...........great talents....

  • @GVike Roadstar? On that last comment it should be Roadster with an E.

  • On the gearhead front, not many bassists were yet using non-lawsuit (ie copycat) Ibanez basses like Wetton. Guessing that is the first Roadstar model. Right?

  • Roxy Music, King Crimson and Velvet Revolver. Una mezcla genial cuyo resultado pueden apreciar. El tecladísta y violinísta tocó para Jethro Tull como colaboración.

  • Actually, it wasn't a bad song. But it was the beginning of the end for this band. Nothing can match their first album!

  • oh man imagine if they had had steve hackett to round this out
