William Garvey is the songwriter of "Goodbye Horses" used in the films: Married to the Mob, The Silence of the Lambs and Clerks 2. He has recently composed many new songs for the soon to be released album, "The Rise and Fall of Goodbye Horses and the Clerks II Remix from Mars".
He also created Garvey Media, an "open" media company.

ZeroTime
ZeroTime is upon us. A heavy veil has been lifted and we can now see and hear everything very clearly. All the world is connected through the internet and wireless, all the companies that can merge, have, and China has come into it's own - pollution and all. The music industry has finally cried uncle in the realization that iTunes got it right. The Digital revolution has arrived with the advent of downloadable film and HDTV (in USA finally). YouTube has garnered the prize for most irritating truth-teller in the current election mud-slinging. The global economy has been proven both true, and a bit prickly, with the recent planetary financial gyrations from both the US and Asian stock markets.
The going motto in stock investing is: "Anywhere, but in America". Showing that our national debt and lack of GDP is throwing cold water on the dream that the 21st Century could again be another "American Century". For we have reached a crisis level with Education, Health Care, Global Warming, The Decline of the Middle Class, lest I mention a loss of civil rights never before seen, or even imagined in this so-called, land of liberty.
And so I state, flatly and clearly, this is ZeroTime, when all things must restart anew as if we had set the odometer back to zed. No other time in the history of the world have we been so aware of ourselves and of the millions of other earthlings orbiting this sphere with us. Never before has humanity had the power to speak and be seen and heard by everyone simultaneously, whether it's the internet or YouTube or on TV. We are in a new global era and our careless past has now come to stand before us, hand extended, to reclaim it's debt. And what a debt we owe.
Some say it's over, it's too late, some wait for a savior take them away, some hide in a dutiful routine in the pursuit of security. But life is now about to explode into one of the most meaningful eras in history, a postcutural history, a global realtime history. A world that is truly awake and conscience of it's actions. It's as if we had been the pinball all this time, but now we get to push the flippers, we have the overview, we can effect the game. We have a whole new global perspective.
And it's all so daunting...
So get out the lemonade stand, kids, and turn this thing around, the future is here now and it's time to live up to it's true promise. Whether it's the Jetsons or Star Trek you seek - It's time to awaken the whole person you are and join in the aligning process. So, you decide, should I "wait 'n see", or will I start this journey off with the pioneers and plant my seeds in the spring-time earth. So build your house on rock, check the modem cable and smear on some sun-block, but remember...
