This BMT survivor speech was delivered by my son, Neil Sen, who was a 14 year old cancer patient in 2005, now deceased. Please visit Neil's memorial website at http://neil-sen.memory-of.com
I was at that Bone Marrow Transplant Survivor's Day in 2005, a then-25-yr-old survivor of ALL myself, and remember hearing Neil Sen speak. His poise, dignity, and mature wisdom struck me then, as now. I am so saddened to hear of his passing, but am convinced that his incredible human spirit lives on.
I am Scott (Scott's Leukemia) I had AML in 1980 at age of three. I had one of the 1st successful BMT at Cleveland University. I am now 31... I have many medical problems now but I am Alive. 29 years later
His donor is an angel among us.
