@Hotspot989 UAE already done a lot for other different countries, if anything they probably donated more than most others did. Shaikh Zayed built hospitals, houses and schools for others. Al Maktoum donated millions to help educate/health care for others outside the country. My whole family tree donates money/food/clothes, my cousins, father(donated a whole house to 3 families), brother and myself. It is only natural our kids will do the same too. Please don't talk about things you don't know.

The quote from Umar(R.A.) means, that if person A does something wrong openly, then A cannot blame the people to think wrongly of him.

Maybe they donated to Somalia, but the amount of money they WASTE, may Allah forgive my Muslim Brothers, and CORRECT their affairs. If they used the money used for Burj Khalifa into a Shari'ah Bank, who knows how it would have changed the course of Muslims.
