@bestboy355 you actualy can... But it's actually more efficient to run to first, since its a force out. If there isn't anyone covering 1st, sliding may be a better thing to do. I remember someone on the Orioles doing it during Lester's no hitter, when Pedroia made a stop at 2ndl; He was out.

Thats the thing with some of you yankee fans, winning isn't enough for you. it'll forever be in the record books that the bronx bozos blew a 3-0 game lead to the Sox!
