I hope any non skiiers realize that this is absolutely fucking insane and badass, here the teton village we have cliffs that are one third this size and nobody ever ever ever hits them

Yes, if he landed on his feet, he very likely would have broken his legs. There is a limit to how far a human can jump. Or in this case, fall. That wasn't a ski jump; it was a stunt. Given that I can ski and that gravity affects me too, I could have done it with the same result. So could my grandmother.
