The elf on the shelf is totally creepy. I've had terrible nightmares of the elf on the shelf every night since I saw this commercial. The elf just watches, then it comes to life like a Chucky doll and murders my family, then hides underneath couches just waiting for me to sit down so it can slice open my heel and murder me, too.
