funny you tell me that though, as for members not paying a church, bible says

pay the least and you have paid me, so I give to people, or the 1,000 packs of garden seed I give our town kids yearly to learn to garden rather than take food stamps. I pray you and the world that wont or cant make it without tax aid, ask GOD

@donze52 Lol guy...ok look I respect what you claim to do, if in fact you really do do this, it's a noble thing. But until you go through the trouble of starting a church, renting a building, paying for electricity, water, all the things that a pastor does out of the goodness of their hearts with nothing but faith in God, and until you have church members that don't pay offering, you have absolutely no room to talk. Churches don't get taxed because donations shouldn't be taxed.

No I do not have members only people that drift through needing help,.

be it in the spirit or needing some food or cash, I give what I can, and do it in secret,

the G man need not know nor give me a tax break for my way of living.

but if YOU want tax breaks so be it, go for it. the world wants tax breaks.

FBI says non profit qutie often do very little or no good.

example of Africa non profits shipping in free food, means local food

places cant get a started.

I run my street church for 28 years with out a penny of aid, nor tax free status

it can work, I have proven it. If a chruch can build a 20 million dollar building it can pay taxes. If a non profit can pay its CEO $1 million a year in wages it can pay taxes.

Bible does not say exclude church from tax

@donze52 I'm thinking of the nonprofits doing good, see if we were to tax non profits then it would keep building. Pretty soon fundraisers would be getting taxed. And I'm thinking of the churches just getting started, that have two or three members that put a dollar or two for the offering, should that one or two dollars be taxed? In your way, pretty soon I'd have to pay taxes on my donations, and so on and so forth. It would just keep building.

yep, getting something for nothing is what the non profits do. FBI says as much as 80% never gets to where it is going to. so tax that business. reminds me of how many billions a company made from sending food over seas to the poor.

yes that includes churches no free ride for anyone.

I have no tax breaks for my street church and I get by just fine giving free food and free gardne seed to kids of McCook..
