No, the 3G does not give you free internet. You still have to pay for data from your mobile phone service provider. The advantage of using Opera Mini is that it uses a lot less data than the built in Nokia web browser, so it costs less.

why use opera 5 when you have symbian? Im currently use n81 8gb opera 10. In fact opera 4.2 is better than opera 5. Forget other web browser such as bolt, skyfire, teashark, ucweb, they all suck!

@lorrymanless - Ok thanks, i don't know why i haven't been using it. I think that Opera Mobile for symbian used to cost money to use, and that only Opera Mini was free.
I did try Opera Mobile a while back, but i found that i preferred Opera Mini, and it was free.
I have now installed Opera Mobile 10, looks very similar to Mini 5, but it's a bit smoother/faster, and is higher resolution. Will see how it goes.
Can't use SkyFire anymore in Australia, was good for Flash websites.

Do you need a data plan to use this App?
PLZ ANSWER!

@toxicbizzle13 - You need either a WiFi connection, or a data plan. There's no such browser than can access the internet without a data plan through a 3G/GPRS connection, or Wifi.
