Shambhala, Tibet Music 香巴拉西藏民族音樂

Shambhala (Tib. bde 'byung) Tibet is a Sanskrit term meaning swayam + bhala meaning self benefited or swayam + bala meaning self powered. Commonly it is understood to be a "Place of Peace/Tranquility/Happiness". Shakyamuni Buddha is said to have taught the Kalachakra tantra on request of King Suchandra of Shambhala; the teachings are also said to be preserved there. Shambhala is believed to be a society where all the inhabitants are enlightened, actually a Buddhist Pure Land.
香巴拉是藏語的音译，，又译為香格里拉，其意為極樂园，是佛教所說的神話世界，為時輪佛法的發源地；佛學界認為香巴拉是一個虚构的世外桃源，是藏傳佛教徒向往追求的理想淨­土即：極樂世界、人間仙境.
