Wow, I wish I had the eloquence and articulation of the average Brit. Listen to this guy, it's philosophic poetry.

Unfortunately I must second that sentiment, although I am Swedish and it goes the same, even for my own countrymen and women.

Your living document spew ignores the fact that the founders included the right to amend the constitution as opposed to just making up whatever one wants the constitution to mean at any given time.

I'll be waiting for you to point out the "right to privacy" in the 4th Amendment. When words can mean whatever the interpreter wants, then words have no meaning at all. That's the purpose of the amendment process.

Cont further:

Now I'm not saying the constitution has no worth, but it IS a hypocritical document at best, it is merely an agreement that was made and signed by people from a past time, that don't live today. We just agree to it.

Everything that happens to us in life is contractual, it's just disguised, police can search your house if you invite them in, credit is now called money, yada yada, lies everywhere.

As George Carlin said, it's all bullshit and it's bad for ya.

Couldn't agree more that "it's all bullshit, and it's bad for ya'". RIP, George! Yes, the Constitution is somewhat outdated, but it's intent is still true. Never mind the 200+ years of statute and code that have essentially replaced it.

I understand that if I do business in the public domain, I am subject to UCC. That's how it should be. However, when I'm taking my family for a ride in the mountains, I'm operating in private. There is no code that applies to private activity.
