The tactic that's been used since the advent of automatic weapons is volume of fire to keep the other side's head down. It would be nice if everyone was a badass marksman; but, in practice, volume of fire is what gets the job done.

Looks like a big waste of ammo, over heating barrels, cant even confirm your kills, what happened to the old tactics of advancing and outflanking the enemy, spotting for muzzle flashes, sending a few 7.62x51mm downrange and confirming a kill. 5.56 also seems like the wrong round for these Jihadis. Still badass.
