Gadget's Go Coaster in Mickey's Toontown Disneyland (HD)

Watch in HD! The Gadget Roller Coaster is one of the great attractions in Mickey's Toontown. It's both short and sweet. Although wait times for this Toon Town ride may vary, once the ride starts, it will be over in less than a minute!

If you have young kids, you'll want to be sure and visit Mickey's Toontown for this and other fun and engaging activities. This is a good ride to test how well your young child will do on a coaster. Both Gadget's Go Coaster and the Matterhorn have the same height requirement (35 inches), so this is a good one to test before riding the Matterhorn bobsleds. If your kid isn't scared on Gadget's Go Coaster, then they may just be ready for the Matterhorn (although the Yeti may give them a good scare).

This ride is themed after a short lived animated series in the late 1980's, "Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers". The go coaster gets it's name from the female mouse inventor Gadget Hackwrench who was one of the characters in the cartoon. Look closely and you'll notice that the colorful but small rollercoaster appears to be built out of spare parts like paper clips and match boxes. And the cars are hollowed out of acorns!

Mickey's Toon Town is located in the Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California.

I'd like to add to the information from the sidebar: children under the age of seven, regardless of height, must be accompianed by an adult at all times. A lot of the time kids will get to the front and they'll be six and a half but they simply cannot ride without mom or dad.

I rode on this in 96 and it was the shortest roller coaster ride that I ever got on.Small and compact but I think that it was well themed.The crank mechanism I thought it sounded funny.

OMG! I didn't know Gadget actually talks to you before the ride! SWEET!!!! Though it doesn't quite sound like Tress Macneille, it might be her but with an older voice and maube they had her re-record it.
