buffers the inputs into the red fireball recovery, nothing easier than jab jab back short fierce, not even mashing.

Well, the inputs are being buffered into the recovery of the red fireball, which is why it'd be kara.
You could do it after the recovery I suppose, but yeah.
-
Why is it kara-ing? lp.redfireball (wait for recover), jab, jab, b+lk+hp right?
TAP takes a long time before it reaches you (if youre full screen away)

That was a sweet finish man

I didn't watch this match at the ranbat... that was a dirty finish lol

Seriously, you need to make a video of your hand movements like TKK did for his Balrog, lol.
When doing Kara I just mash all the buttons at once and pray for a miracle like the strategy guide suggests. Hitting the button combination all at once does/does not work for me some of the time. Mashing it on stick just seems to get me better results. I'm curious as to how you do it though...
Accidentally removed this comment - "You handled him just fine. I see some adaptation towards the end. I have a concept with Chun-Li that I carry over to other characters. Basically, it's running away for a little bit, then when they advance...you attack in pulses that don't have a pattern. I call it 'screen shifting'. For example, if you're running away, and they're walking up to you...you just walk upand st.roundhouse, or walk up and act like you will, crouch, then jump back, repeat etc."

I like the idea of shifting your strat to do what they least expect. I'll work on some Akuma variants of it.

I also recommend lessening the use of neutral jumping. This particular Balrog player was not jab dash straight'ing enough to warrant the amount of neutral jumps. But you saw that later on. The one time he caught you with a > half screen EX rush punch...you did fireball after a neutral jump. It's not bad, he guessed and got the hit....but, you can easily avoid that by just waiting and throwing it. He definitely did not react to that. Against Balrog players, the key is to just wait.

I've been playing alot of Rog's who TAP alot or jab straight dash. So the neutral jump thing just carried over for a bit.

You can demon TAP very early or very late. If his arm gets extended outside of the invincibility window you will get hit.
