After seeing the Hoload Videos here on youtube I decided to build one myself. The basic principle is so -well- basic, that I was able to quickly whip up a prototype. It looks a bit messy still, but I'll later build a cleaned up version that'll look as good as it works.

Ingredients:
Plexiglass
Plexiglass glue
Wood
Screws
15" TFT VGA Monitor

  • wow!! how did u do that?

  • @sathish16june

    It's actually quite simple.

You take three pieces of glass (or plexiglass), cut them into shape so you basically get a pyramid and then put an ordinary TFT screen on top of that.

The rest of the magick is done in software, you need to render the object you want to display from each of the sides you want to display on your pyramid.

Due to the reflection angles on the glass surfaces the objects will appear to float inside the pyramid.
