The best way to handle the first phrase is easy enough. Drive him. Be sure to keep Spiral shots to a minimum, since piling them on can cause Geryon to collapse near you when you Drive. Close missiles aren't fun to evade.

And the second phrase...so, I'm not very good. I like to mess up anything that'll keep me safe, so if you want to lock on to a loop, be smart and don't do random Killer Bees or Dance Macabre dashes.
