Playing & singing with brother Ed, the first 2 songs she wrote, "Bring Us Together" (words & music L Pass) & "Love is on the Way" (her 1st co-write, the lyrics were written by grammar school friends, music by L Pass) here's an 11 year old Lauren from 1971. • What was used to record this? Super 8? It's Prevideotape and the sync of sound is excellent. All the concert footage of me at that age is silent (perhaps a good thing at that) Good Show!!

  • it was super 8 & had a little cassette deck & sudo sync cable. but we never saw it in sync til now thanks to digitizing & lining it up. upon every viewing one was ahead or behind the other. but that was the option for consumers in those days & my Dad was cool, he always had the latest & greatest of these toys to capture & enjoy our lives.

  • This is the earliest footage other than silent b&w at 4 & 5 yrs old with plastic guitars singing "she loves you" in feet pajamas. although i do have audio singing Mickey Mouse younger than that.

  • My Dad sparked our love for technology, to have tools to create with. He still has the love & enjoys new toys today.

  • How amazingly cool is this?!?! Your Essential Self in this lifetime was shining from the get go!

  • Was honored to do this for you Lauren, and despite all the many amazing other clips I've seen on here of your work, this one will always be my fav! Still hard to believe that you were only 11 there... Good Stuff! - Cheers!

  • :) :)

  • This is great.

  • A cool blast from the past. Younger, longer haired and blonder ( and still just as cute today! )... and a couple of charming songs to boot ( a Beatle boot, of course )!!!
