@TheGhilliSniper I never said that I was christian. I simply pity you, and believe that Mr. T would also pity you. You seem unhappy, thus we pity you.

@truezenwarrior15 and why is that, dont give me that bull that im not a happy person because unlike you who live to serve a false god i live for my friends and family and to live the best live i can ever live, and i can do that while sorting fact from fiction

@nastygar562 You're right, it's a christian song, but the wonderful thing about switchfoot is the depth of their music. Most christian music that i've heard is good music, yet very shallow, focusing mostly on how groovy god is in every single song. Jon sings about the aspects of christianity that teach you to be a better person, and he spreads what he calls the word of god not by saying "God is cool", but by challenging everyone who listens to become a better person.

This is to praise god, for all of you that cry for attention because your athiest you don't have to let us know .and religion didn't ruin anything this song wouldn't be the the song it is today and you should thank god. :)

I don't believe in God and am probably more opposed to religion than anything, but I still love this song, and I still love the stars.
Jon Foreman: "For us, it's a faith, not a genre. We've always been very open and honest about where the songs are coming from. For us, these songs are for everyone. Calling us 'Christian rock' tends to be a box that closes some people out and excludes them, and that's not what we're trying to do. Music has always opened my mind—and that's what we want."

cool song.
What a great song. When I look at nature, especially the night sky, I see God's handiwork, and I can't help but feel free and purposeful. I feel like myself. :)

He who tries to comprehend God with his mind becomes an atheist.
That's all there is to it.
How about we just listen to this amazing song, and interpret it in our own way. That's what music is all about, right?<3
