Every year Zoeller Ministries & PBOC host 70+ families with terminally-ill children to an all-expense paid weekend at Sebring Raceway. In the last couple of years, the Kids Racing For Life (KRFL) program has suffered tremendous cut-backs due to the down economy. The event in 2010 was nearly cancelled due to a lack of donations.
With the permission of Zoeller Ministries, TrackWeekend.com & Massive Motorsports have teamed up to help keep this wonderful program running. The first step was to help raise awareness, and what better way to do this than by creating a video showcasing what the event is about. We asked some of our friends, pro-drivers and club owners to help us tell this story. The outcome was a genuinely heartfelt and impactful video.

This video sums it up pretty well, but pales in comparison to the reality and power of the experience. I will never forget participating in this event last Fall, and I will do so every year for as long as I can drive on the track.

My dream at 13 racing 1/24 scale slot cars and watching Roger Penske, Jim Hall, Bruce McLaren was of the day I could drive a race car. In 2009 at the age of 56 I drove on to the historic Sebring raceway during an HPDE club event achieving my dream 43 years in the making. As a driver in the Kids Racing for Life program I have had the honor of helping kids who may not have 43 days let alone 43 years to achieve their dream of being in a race car. Please help us make this possible!
