The man has achieved Godlike status in my perspective. What pisses me off the most is his own country did him dirty. We will never see a more bold, intelligent and determined generation of Americans like the one's back in the 40s. My pops was one of 'em.. Legends.

Patton was a good man who didn't take crap from anyone and didn't care about anyone more than his men on the battlefield... George had a plan that after he stormed through Berlin and grabbed all the gold that Russia got before he arrived, he would take his men into Russia and have war with them because he knew about the Communism influence that was being brought upon Vitenam and Cuba.... Though the man who T-Boned him was drunk, rumors say that with the neck injuries he had were caused by a gun.

My late father was a 2nd LT in Patton's 3rd Army....he was proud of the fact to my Dad's dying day. Did Patton work them hard? You bet. Did Patton have high expectations? Yes, again. Did Patton scare the h3ll out of the enemy? Sure thing. Did Patton bring the war to an end? No question. Patton understood war....and survival....and what it took to win. We could use more like him today. What it takes to be a LEADER!
