  • @racercowan I feel like that was a thing back in the day. People would turn insults into positives. For example, democrats got the donkey symbol, because someone called Andrew Jackson a jackass, and republicans got the elephant, because some cartoonist was making fun of them by use of an elephant. We should bring that back these days. Hahah.

  • you know. Yankee doodle has a funny background. Did you know it was made by the British as an insult? Then we started singing it, and it sorta backfired. Wartime insult songd don't work very well apparently.
