I like this locomotive. I'm sick of seeing dash-9s and Gevos here, when will BNSF start running ACes here in California?

@CSXtrackworker The FRA's jurisdiction is limited to the carriers, shippers, and railroad employees. They keep data on deaths caused by trespassing but lack any power of arrest or ability to fine civilians.
The only people who can arrest and cite trespassers are sworn law enforcement officers (police, DHS, etc.). The FRA employs no such officials. The only fines that can be assessed must be done so in a court of law.

@fyadcorp Here is the key word in your sentence "worked" meaning you use to work for them. Obviously you have not had to sit through any kind of safety guarterly training classes where one part is talking about rail security given by the FRA them selves. As govt regulators they can and will fine the public for tresspassing. I guess you have not had a chance to look in their little hand held books they carry with them that shows how much they can fine railroad employees and the public.
-
@CSXtrackworker I worked for BNSF in train service, the FRA cannot fine nor arrest non-railroad employees, all they can do is call the police.
-
@fyadcorp Youobviously do not work for the railroad and understand how this stuff works. The arrest will come from either the railroads own police force or from the state or local police. The FRA can have you arrested in a moments notice for tresspassing as well as issue you a personal fine of up to $10,000 dollars.
-
@CSXtrackworker The FRA doesn't have have its own police officers, nor power of arrest

Thank you for minding not entering the unit. :)

@railfan101 Come live in NY! CSX has a large spectrum of locomotives that I've seen.
-
@5292Nate I don't mind K3LA's, it's the locomotives that I'm tired of. Since I live in Southern California, BNSF runs mostly GE locomotives here, which is kinda annoying to me since UP runs both GE AND EMD here. I just wanna see a better variety from BNSF. That's all.
-
@railfan101 I assume you're not a K3LA fan?

@C45ACCTE The dont tresspass nerds are mostly railroad workers like myself who understand the extreme danger's of the railroad unlike most railfans.. Keep tresspassing and you might find your self either arrested by the railroads own police dept or fined and then arrested by the Federal Railroad Administration... This is just a professional piece of advice.. The more railfans tresspass, the more extreme measures railroads will take to keep railfans away.
that is correct do not get caught trespassing although you already were by being that close the tracks the legal limit is 15 ft from the nearest rail minimum . I am not trying to piss you off but as a BNSF employee I do not want people to lose thee right to film trains.....
By the way was that Palmer Lake back track?
