This swings like mad it's just a little disappointing that the mix is so lopsided.Buddy is almost buried in the mix and Jimmy is way over top.Still it's great hearing these cats do their matchless thing.

Never call down the thunder - Jimmy's work was and is brilliant and better than most without all the gizmos. After playing guitar for over forty-five years, I wish I could/would have focused on Jimmy early on. I believe the recording is just wonderful. StratMan1963

Not at his best?
Try and play it.
Realize that it is live jam.
Hearing the GTR isolated is actually quite a treat!

PS.
If you had this CD, you could create your own mix.

Emmons is happening! Bryant is not at his best here. What is with the mix??? This would have sounded better if the right and left were combined, the guitar level mixed with the other instruments and then the combined mix mastered for level and EQ.
