How Deedat Made Me Daaee - Dr. Zakir Naik explains Sheikh Ahmed Deedat's contribution behind him becoming a daaee (Islamic missionary).

Introduction of Sheikh Ahmed Deedat:
The charming and charismatic founder of the IPCI, born in July 1, 1918 in the Surat district of India, was an Islamic scholar, author and lecturer. His family migrated to South Africa in 1927. He established the first Islamic religious institution in South Africa to train preachers at the Assalaam Institute in Braemar. He was the president of the Islamic Propagation Centre International (IPCI), until he suffered from a stroke, which left him paralysed for 10 years. He passed away on 8th August 2005.

Introduction to Dr. Zakir Naik:
A medical doctor by professional training, Dr. Zakir Naik is renowed as a dynamic international orator on Islam and Comparative Religion. Dr. Zakir Naik clarifies Islamic viewpoints and clears misconceptions about Islam, using the Qur'an, authentic Hadith and other religious Scriptures as a basis, in conjunction with reason, logic and scientific facts.

Dr. Zakir is popular for his critical analysis and convincing answers to challenging questions posed by audiences after his public talks. In the last 6 years (by the year 2002), Dr. Zakir Naik has delivered more than 600 public talks in the U.S.A., Canada, U.K., Saudi Arabia, U.A.E., Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, South Africa, Mauritius, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Hongkong, Thailand, Guyana (South America) and many other countries, in addition to numerous public talks in India.

His public dialogue with Dr. William Campbell (of USA), on the topic, "The Qur'an and the Bible in the light of Science" held in city of Chicago, U.S.A., on April 1, 2000 was a resounding success.

Sheikh Ahmed Deedat, the world famous orator on Islam and Comparative Religion, who had called Dr. Zakir, "Deedat plus" in 1994, presented a plaque in May 2000 awarded to Dr. Zakir Abdul-Karim Naik for his achievement in the field of Da'wah and the study of Comparative Religion with the engraving "Son what you have done in 4 years had taken me 40 years to accomplish, Alhamdullilah."

Dr. Zakir Naik appears regularly on many international T.V. Channels in more than 100 countries of the world. He is regularly invited for T.V. and Radio interviews. • why are they laughing at 5:46?? this is not funny man

  • @irfand4 inshAllah the pain and hardship he went through in the final years of his life.... will erase his bad deeds that he had done in his lifetime, so that when he meets his creator on the day of Qiyamah.... he will enter Jannatul Firdaus with ease.

  • there 3 person that inspiring me so much.

    1st. Rasulullah Muhammad SAW

    2nd My Beloved mother

    3rd Sheik Ahmad deedat.

masya Allah, i've learned so much things about Islam from him, knowing more about the truth.

thanks to you Sheikh deedat, hope we will gather (ALL MUSLIM) in the judgement day and go to heaven.. amiiinnnn Ya ALLAH

  • zaheen muallim or zaheen mutaallim , masha allah.

  • The Guru and the Disciple

  • @t6658 He once said, "God willing, as long as I can keep on doing Dawah, I wont stop", and true to his word he continued strong and healthy and continued doing dawah physically until the age of 76, and even thereafter his stroke until the age of 87. Ask from God and God will give that which not even you could have imagined, this is the case with Deedat. Until the age of 76, Deedat looked and moved like he was 10-20 years younger atleast. Mashallah. Peace and Blessings be on him forever

  • @t6658 Deedat's situation is a miracle in itself. Despite being paralised via a stroke he remained to have use of his sight and hearing as well as his mind, allowing him to carry on preaching and communicating, a feat not comparable to other paralysis. People cant say either that he had it easy his entire life so what does he known of hardship etc. Allah knows best. People will remember him not for 9 years of paralysis but 50 years of dawah.

  • @irfand4 I agree with abdulbasithka, I mean just look at the most righteous people in history, the prophets, all had hardship and tests thrown at them. Ayyub (AS) for example was rewarded with the fountain of youth for striving through illness for so many years or Moses (AS) who had to wonder the desert with his people for 40 years before he could enter Israel.

  • Great Man! May his legacy live for ever! Jannatal Firdous!!
