I've seen that happen before in Leopard on my MacBook Pro... I don't auto-hide the dock. Running 'killall Dock' in the terminal will restart the Dock and fix it.

I don't understand what the problem is....
Do you have it in auto-hide? That could be the reason.

I had that once, just restart the computer and it should be back were it was.
