I have matched the carb to the intake manifold using a homemade adapter, which also allowed me to use a bigger carb. The length of the pipe has been shortened by 40mm. Before it was too long and would not reach 'band' properly. Revs quite a bit higher now :)

  • can i get a pipe like that cheap off a motorcycle or something at the junk yard?

  • Yeah its one of the cheap pipes that come with the cag pocketbikes...which all belong in a junk yard :D

  • @fingalickenchicken haha. i just tore one of those lil engines apart and theyre built so cheaply. theres a ton of horizontal play in the bottom and top conecting rod bearings. i was plannin on puttin it onto a scooter but after seening how crappy it is i said screw it im usin an old chainsaw engine. haha.

  • wow I wanna do that to mine but I dont know how to mount it.

  • what kind of dirt bike did i see at the start of the video?

  • hear that 4-stroking at the top end? if you lean out the top a little you'll get a lot better performance

  • how long is the deck of that scooter?

  • @BORATMAKEMOVIE i made my exhaust out of pop cans made a fatty pipe out of the cans and i hoked it up to a weed eater sounds nice

  • sounds like it needs to be RE tuned

  • all the oil spill will just run back into cylinder :P

  • You know, longer expansion chamber = lower powerband, shorter = higer powerband..

    You've just made it worse.

And as long as you get it running clean, you can add up to 6% oil without loosing power. Note that if you mix the oil in the gasoline, you must retune your carb if you change the % of oil in the gasoline.

  • awesome

  • @jdogz12 NOOO not what i meant lol... w-e not wat i meant...
