Younis Andindi plays folk instrument he calls a rababa (African Harp/tanbura) This instrument is known by different names but is a traditional instument native to East Africa. He interprets the lyrics, which tell the tale of a young woman who is drawn to the young men of the neighboring, Nuba Tribe. In the song, young men from her own, Baqqarah , tribe try lure her back by convincing her how bad life would be living in the Nuba Mountains, even though the young men are rich an handsome. In spite of their efforts to change her mind, she leaves Kortofan to join the Nuba.
