If you get the little spiral wire on your jig it can be set up weedless =P.

@smamouthbassrigs when the bass are more lethargic, such as on hotter days, and you cant really find a good lure such as a crank, finesse techniques such as the jig head or wacky rig can entice bass to strike

@3kenpokid dont know if you stll check your account regulary, but whatever. when you carolina rig a worm, you are supposed to put the bead inbetween the knot on your swivel, and you egg sinker to protect the knot

I don't see the jig head working bass bite the tail of the bait and with that huge worm your a little off

@PLATINIUM1943 You guys have walleye in FInland? wtf
-
In Finland we rig in same system for walleye

odd. I see people using the o-ring saying dno't pierce the worm at all and some saying to hook the worm. Not sure which is the right way now. I'm guessing each doesn't impact catching fish, only the longevity of the worm...hmmmm

typically youll want to rig a jighead if you're fishing deeper waters without much debris such as grass or logs to get caught on, or, if you have a high pund test line to get you out off the weeds, since jigheads arnt weedless
