I believe no one is an atheist, but I am willing to give the God deniers the benefit of the doubt. Please do tell where's the proof that Atheism is correct and true. Just answer the million dollar question. Again Where is the proof that atheism is true and correct.

  • A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. My "proof" resides with the Westboro Baptist Church, the Children of God cult, and Jim Jones. Where was the benevolent creator when these atrocities came into being. BTW, how can you ask for proof of the lack of belief in something. That's like asking what "nothing" tastes, smells, and looks like. Why don't you give me proof for why unicorns, trolls, and dragons don't exist? If there were a word for disbelief in these would you ask for proof?

  • @AzazelZaphorOmega " Westboro Baptist Church" And what atrocity did these morons commit? I am unaware they kill anyone. I don't know who are the Children of God. Jim Jones was a CIA operation, the world is not what it seems.

  • @younhol00 yup, that's for sure, it isn't as it seems. so cigarettes don't have tobacco. want my proof?

  • @Ryantheatheist22 - Not only are we descended from apes, we still ARE apes, just as we are still mammals and still chordates and still animals.

Listening to "The Hitch" read his "God Is Not Great" book through Audible - his gifted intellect is sorely missed!

  • Athiesm is not a belief, it's a lack of belief. Atheists just don't believe there is any god. Asking atheists to prove that god doesn't exist makes just about as much sense as asking someone to prove that the tooth fairy doesn't exist.

By asserting that god does exist, it's you who are making the exraordinary claim, not atheists and extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. You have none.

Therefore, "God does not exist", is the default position until proved otherwise. Show your proof.

  • Well, here's your answer you've been seeking sir... The reason atheism is correct is because of the evolution of the Human race. NO RELIGION can answer the evolution evidence that we have. they simply dance around it. We evolved from primates and thats a FACT. Science accepts evolution as a fact. And evolution adds up to NONE of the religions that exist now or ever have existed before. We simply are here by chance, not design. accept it and move on with your life. You are only here once.

  • "I believe no one is an atheist, but I am willing to give the God deniers the benefit of the doubt." how arrogant, no one needs you to project your opinions onto them. i believe in science and the progression of humanity, there's no room for your religion there. i believe in physics, and evolution; where there is a huge abundance in recordable physical evidence. i believe humans have the capability to be good without religion, and i see evil for what it is. not some red dude with a pitchfork.

  • If there is no proof and evidence that atheism is accurate and correct, and you would conclude the existence of God is true on that basis - then what's stopping us asserting that there's no proof and evidence that theism is accurate and correct, therefore there is no God?

  • @IamSpydaMic oh dear God..... Come here ( smack ) ok, any sense In there yet?

  • Are you the guy who called and asked this question on the atheist experience? And did you understand the answer? And why can't you accept that some people don't believe in God? I definitely don't believe in God and never have.

  • @2011rosarot I would disagree with your first point but I can agree with your second point for some religions. ( I don't pretend to be a religious scholar. There are over 30,000 sects of Christianity alone.)

  • @highlander7, To me, all religions are interesting and equal. They all contain a core of truth and wisdom. :)
