@lujavana couldn't have said it better - I was in my living room and when the ball left his hands, I vividly remember it felt like 5 minutes watching the ball spin through the air and then words cannot express the joy that I felt when it went it. IMO as a VC fan, his finest game of his career.

Great story about this game, what set Vince off was a guy with seats behind the New Jersey bench, he was heckling Vince in the fourth saying "You gonna skip the fourth quarter to go to your graduation?" Vince replies, "Really? You're still complaining about that?"

He goes off for 24 in the fourth and after the game goes back to the guy, and says "Your fault."

i remember watching this with my brother back in new jersey and the feeling i got after , he made it as soon as kidd jumped on carter , me and my brother where screaming man i miss these days VC will forever be my favorite player , he was the nets hero in moments like this its the last year in jersey i hope we can win a ring man , we deserve it .

Awesome. Excellent performance by Vince. But also, I love watching Jason Kidd play basketball. He sees things others don't and he therefore is able to place the ball in places where others cannot.

Also, I always kind of wished this was a true buzzer beater. It's still very cool, but there's something even cooler when a shot is hit with 00.00 left on the clock.
