Why are you guys whining about if King Kong could beat a T. Rex? T. Rexes were real, giant gorillas have never been real.

THe 360 resolution here only hints at the beautiful soft lighting that O'Brien used to help make these scenes really work. Something that was not always the case in Harryhausen's scenes.

Wow, this was really good for a 1933 fight scene! By today's standards, people will think it sucks, but back then, this was state of the art!

The thing I liked about this version is that you really get the impression that these are two living creatures fighting to the death. Its got a brutal realism to it that the 2005 version doesn't have.

This scene was more realistic than the 2005 one IMO.
