  • Thanks to Mr. Ghamidi, it should be very easy for people to understand that the rules are not in play for Man and Woman but for a Husband and Wife, as explained that the same Woman (Wife) can herself reprimand a Man (Son).

Point to note as Mr. Ghamidi says, that WE DONT HAVE TO RESORT TO HITTING WIFE, if it exceeds todays criminal laws. No where is violence prescribed, as Allah must have known how manipulative man can be and he could use this excuse to be violent towards his wife.

  • Unsatisfactory Answer Given by Ghamidi Sahab. Actually woman is not just a commodity, Because the Verse Says (Fair in the eyes of men is the love of things they covet: Women and son....) So If you consider women as commodity, so be the men because the same aayat mentions about Sons. Similarly women are attracted towards men, But since it is implied, Quran did not added extra words, That is Beauty of Quran. .. Wallahu Aalam.

  • he verse sister just quoted is here003.014

YUSUFALI: Fair in the eyes of men is the love of things they covet: Women and sons; Heaped-up hoards of gold and silver; horses branded (for blood and excellence); and (wealth of) cattle and well-tilled land.

she failed to realize that along with women Allah has also stated "sons" (who are men) in the same way. so if women is a commodity (as she thinks this verse means) than man is also the same..........So where is the question of in equality....?
