Horowitz 's playing shows he knows Mozart. As the other guy ssaid, Horowit'z articulation made a big difference . The orchestra 's playing is excellent too, though not as vivacious as the pianist.

I did not say he would play Beethoven "pianissimo" like you have assumed. In my opinion, Horowitz is a great master, I love him and admire the way he interprets romantic music. There are days when I spend hours listening to his recordings of Chopin's works. His technique and emotion are beyond comparison.
However, what I mean was that I would love it much more if he plays some certain chords more lightly, eg. at 1:31. For this piece I prefer the version of Pletnev's.
