Introduction to Searching (part II). Lectures 21-50 have been recorded and will be posted commencing July 2010. (see my comment below)

The first few minutes of the video are the last few minutes of the break where we have been discussing task 2 - which will be a searching task. This is lecture 20 of COMP1927 "Data Structures and Algorithms" by Richard Buckland UNSW.

  • @jegr64 and @everyone-who-has-posted-here : thanks so much for your supportive comments, I am very happy if the lectures are helping others than simply the students in the class. I'm flat out teaching COMP2911 at the moment. That finishes shortly and I should then have time to resume uploading the 1921 lectures 21-50, and then the 2911 lectures 1-50.

    best regards,

    richard

PS students and fellow teachers: please do post comments if you find the videos useful, or suggestions if not. they help!

  • Wow this is one of the best computer science lectures I have ever seen. This professor is really good at what he does. I watched the entire video and it only felt like 5 minutes. It's good stuff like this that makes the internet a very powerful tool! I truly admire how enthusiastic this guy is. Too bad this is the first video of the lectures that I watched! Now it's like I've seen the middle of a good TV series and now I have to start from the beginning knowing whats going to happen!

  • awesome

  • He is really very appealing to students.

  • Thanks a lot Richard for your effort in helping others. You dont have any idea how much you have helped students who can't afford teachers like you.

    PS Keep helping!!!!!

  • nice

  • Yeah. Was the extension lecture filmed? I'd love to see it!
