Stern is soloist, and Ormandy conducts the Philadeplhia Orchestra, in this 1963 performance of the fifth movement of the Lalo Symphonie Espagnole, Op. 21. I purchased the cassette tape (serial number MYT 37811) pictured in the video above in the early 90s, shortly after CBS released it as part of the "Great Performances" series.

@margaretsville Yes, in fact it is, with a little help from modern technology... I have had great success with budget label cassettes, but far less so with top of the line labels such as Deutsche Grammophon; curious to say the least.

The sound quality is great on this and Stern plays great. Is this a dub right from the cassette?
