Don't know about linearity. But the game is way too hyped up for what it really is. It's a pile of shit no matter how you look at it. Have fun wasting your money on a game that WILL fail when GW2 comes out. Hell, WoW's panda expansion will probably knock out half of its player base. Let me reiterate: this game is shit.
