@lostenmusic Tiny Toons FTW!

Heh, I need a subwoofer :)

@CeBitsMobile I just ran a spectral analysis of the 96 kHz file, it's just an upsampled version of the 48 kHz one. Frequency cutoff is around 24 kHz, the THX sound itself has a power drop at around 20 kHz, most of what is above that is noise.

@leerees Um. I can hear beyond 24kHz as well (I can hear up to 30kHz, too), and when I do listen to most 96kHz/24bit files, I do hear the difference. Better separation, more air, more pronounced nuances, etc. On the WAV I listened to, there was this high-frequency scream during the climax (which probably was the information above 20 kHz) and I couldn't tell if it was on the original recording or not.

@sainenko this actually use to excite me as a child

@RkivUnderground There are lots of humans who can hear beyond 24 Khz. I've have my ears tested to near to 30 Khz and often hear noises from electrical devices that are inaudible to others, so for me I prefer 96khz sample rate as 44khz sounds like parts of the song are missing. Just think yourself lucky you don't hear those high frequencies, else you'd be constantly disappointed with music that's not designed for your pleasure. It's very hard to find non-upscaled 96khz audio.

ENOUGH WITH THE "THIS USED TO SCARE ME AS A KID" SHIT IS GETTING OLD LEAVE IT ALONE.
Except it isn't uncompressed. Youtube compresses it.

@protolink24 It was uploaded as uncompressed. What youtube does to it is beyond my control. It is still better than uploading MP3 compressed audio.
I added download links in the video description. There are two versions. One is 96Khz 32bit Stereo WAV that is indeed newer version. And the one from the video 48Khz 16bit Stereo WAV. Enjoy.
