@tokarev Yes I have some air cleaners. I bead blasted a bunch and am in the process of painting them. I am trying to find a way to replace the elements in those old filters. Possibly cut them open with a cutting torch to remove the old stuff to replace it.

I had the same basic engine minus the reducer on my first go cart. The engine came off a old reel mower that was in like new condition. This was back in the early 70's - we ran the crap out of the motor - I also learned how they work from that engine. Do you have the oil bath air cleaner? thanks for the video

@Aussie50 Thanks, I never thought I would get it running, the first carb I put on it kept causing the engine to conk out. After about 3 hours of messing with it, (and another carb) it finally started up and ran more then 30 seconds. But I guess that is part of it all, if it was too easy it wouldn't be as much fun!
